In March RBKC implemented the Green Doctors pilot project. 70 home energy efficiency visits were delivered to TMO residents, providing energy efficiency advice and implementing small measures to combat climate change and reduce their energy bills.20th May 2015

In 2013/14 the Council reduced its carbon emissions by 21.6% exceeding its interim target of 20% and saving £1million by reducing overall resource use. Keep an eye out for the 2014/15 Carbon Performance Report, set for release in autumn 2015!18th May 2015
In late 2013 the Council published its first Greener Living Guide for residents. The popular 44 page guide, available online and free from libraries, features advice on everything from energy options at home to biodiversity in your garden.14th April 2014
The Royal Borough will be upgrading 604 street lamps in the coming months. The new, energy efficient units will not only reduce carbon emissions by 73 tonnes annually but are also expected to cumulatively save the Council over £200,000 by 2022!14th April 2014
The Royal Borough is committed to tackling climate change. We’ve cut carbon emissions by 15.6% since 2007/08, saving £822,000 in the process. Keep an eye out for the 2013/14 Carbon Performance Report, set for release in summer 2014!14th April 2014
