Fascinating stories from across GOSH – last week to submit yours!

Written by Great Ormond Street Hospital on 29th June 2015

There has been a buzz in the Sustainability Team after the great response to the GOSH Sustainability Challenge and from the incredible stories that are being submitted.

You were off to a great start with stories submitted by colleagues in Redevelopment, the School and Facilities. This number multiplied as we visited numerous offices across the Trust to encourage you to began to share the excellent actions you are already taking to support  GOSH’s Commitment.

If you haven’t already, take a look here at the variety of actions that people across the estate are taking or changes they are planning to make in order to help GOSH achieve its target!

So far the team with the most stories is Redevelopment with four so there is still a really good chance your department could win the prize.

The sustainability team walked around the estate on Thursday to spread the word about the Sustainability Challenge. They came across Bear Ward during a lunch break and pursuaded five members of the team to join the Carbon Culture Platform. There were lots of sustainability stories and ideas being shared and we witnessed a member of Bear Ward reduce waste by eating every shread of meat from a chicken leg he was having for lunch!

Don’t forget that we are offering a prize of cake for those who share the most stories, but hurry – there is only 1 more week left!

Submit your story now on the left hand side of your Member’s homepage for your chance to win and to share your support for GOSH's Commitment.
Stay tuned for the final results!
