Sustainability Challenge – make your week count

Written by Great Ormond Street Hospital on 18th June 2015

Simple everyday changes across the estate by as many members of staff as possible will make a big step towards meeting our full Energy Commitment target – we want to get everyone involved! Many of you are already doing some great things to contribute and we want you to spread the word, share your story, take up a new action and inspire everyone on the estate. Over the next few weeks we will be implementing the Sustainability Challenge across the Trust.

What is the Sustainability Challenge?

Each departments at GOSH is being challenged to submit as many sustainability Stories as possible from 22nd June to the 3rd July. From large projects to everyday habits, participants will be encouraged to submit as many stories as they can during this week to the
CarbonCulture@GOSH website. Volume of actions is important to spark a wave of energy saving activity across the entire estate and inspire others to act.

How to take part?
- Sign up! (If you haven't already done so!)
- Submit a Story on the left hand side of your member page and tell us where on the estate you are based

What counts as a Story?

Content – Tell us about a sustainability action that you are already doing or a new action that you will take up to help support GOSH’s Sustainability Commitment
Length – Keep it short and snappy, only 250 characters (including spaces)

For example:
Brendan from Estates says ‘I always take notes on my tablet rather than printing
materials and writing on paper’

There will be prizes up for grabs for the departments who submit the most stories!!

Get writing and share what you are doing to support GOSH’s Sustainability Commitment!

It only takes a minute - take part and submit your Story from your homepage!
