Help GOSH pedal to victory in the 2015 London Cycle Challenge

Written by Brendan from Great Ormond Street Hospital on 15th June 2015

Please help support our efforts to improve the air quality around the hospital and celebrate sustainable transport by joining Team GOSH for the 2015 London Cycle Challenge.

This fun, free competition organised by Transport for London offers great prizes for individuals and organisations who encourage their colleagues to enjoy cycling.  It takes just a few minutes to Register as a GOSH employee and log the dates and times of all your bike rides lasting more than 10 minutes between Monday 8 - Sunday 28 June 2015.  If you don’t currently cycle to work, you might be inspired to make this the week to give it a try, but you can also log the details of any cycle ride you do during the competition period, including those closer to your home and in your free time.

Go to, click ‘Register’ at the top of the page and select GOSH from the drop-down menu to join the team.

This is a great chance to raise cycling awareness. Cycling is great way to get around London where the traffic is at a standstill and the tube is just too hot! It's safe, cheap and reliable (and GOSH has staff showers so if you work up a sweat there is no need to be anything but fragrant during the day). Sign up and help get GOSH to the top of the leader board. Get on your bike and ride (as someone once said).
