As part of the operation TLC pilot campaign that was launched at Great Ormond Street Hospital a few weeks ago we have been engaging with a variety of nursing staff across several wards.
Spreading the key messages of Operation TLC, we have been specifically focusing on the advantages of natural light and how reducing artificial lighting before bed can improve patients well-being and sleep.
You may have seen us around the wards and in the past few weeks we have been labelling light switches to avoid confusion around the wards, distributing flyers to parents and hospital staff with more information and asking the children to fill in postcards with their favourite things about having the lights off.
Look out for our 'Lights off for TLC' posters where the children have been placing their postcards - showing everyone their thoughts and designs.
